Anatomy and Physiology
Prerequisite for I-ACT Certification
We believe Students will become most successful when a basic understanding and working knowledge of Anatomy and Physiology are established before the 100 hour practical hands on Training.
To better comprehend the topics and materials presented in this intensive format, we encourage you to complete, or at least start this requirement before Training begins.
Colon Hydrotherapy Certification through I-ACT requires each Student complete 3 College level semester units. Credits from College, University, or licensed post-secondary education in your state may be accepted.
I-ACT has approved an optional A&P online course through Delmar Learning. The A&P prerequisite does not need to be completed before Training but is mandatory for I-ACT Foundation Level Certification.
How the A&P online course works
You may buy the corresponding text Fundamentals of Anatomy & Physiology by Donald C. Rizzo, either the second edition ISBN-13: 9781401871888, or third edition ISBN-13: 9781111038694.
If you choose to buy used materials, please make sure the accompanying study CD-ROM is included.
Go to Delmar Learning and create an account. Here you will study and review all the materials within each chapter using your text book, study CD-ROM and online study companion.
When you are prepared to take a chapter test please contact the Instructor indicating which chapter and the date you wish to test. The chapter test has 35 questions and you may use your book during the test.
An access code has been provided for you to use when taking the tests, after the Instructor has opened them. Go to Delmar, sign in and take the test. After you have successfully passed that test, then you may continue to the next chapter for study and test in sequence 1~19 with the midterm test between chapters 9 & 10, and then the final exam after chapter 19.
The cost to facilitate this course and correspond with you, and your personal access code is $325.00. When your payment is received an email will be sent containing detailed instructions and your code. Once completed this School will provide a Certificate of completion for the A&P online course and send a transcript to I-ACT indicating completion of this prerequisite.
The publisher of the program has indicated a sufficient time of study is 3 hours a week for 15 weeks; your study skills and comprehension may be different. You have 365 days from the date you begin the online course to complete it.
