Anatomy and Physiology
We believe students will become most successful when a basic understanding and working knowledge of Anatomy and Physiology are established before they participate in the 100 hour practical hands on training. To better comprehend the topics and materials presented for I-ACT Certification, we encourage you to complete, or at least start this requirement before your training begins.
Colon Hydrotherapy Certification through I-ACT requires each student completes 3 College Level semester units. Credits from this online course are generally not accepted at other institutions. However, credits from your College, University, or a licensed post-secondary education in your state may be accepted for this I-ACT prerequisite. The A&P course must be of the entire body including the Digestive System. I-ACT has approved this optional A&P online course through Cengage Learning (please contact James for information and to purchase the textbook and access code combination). The A&P prerequisite does not need to be completed before this training but is mandatory for I-ACT Foundation Level Certification.
The online course is easy and fun. Fundamentals of Anatomy & Physiology by Donald C. Rizzo, Fourth Edition ISBN-13: 978-1285174150, is the required text for training at this School (or a textbook of equal education which is acceptable to this instructor).
If you choose to use this A&P online course to complete the I-ACT prerequisite, please contact James Allred before you purchase any product (please understand there is no refund for this product.) After you have purchased the textbook and access code combination from James, then instructions will be emailed to you of how to set up your online account.
The cost to facilitate this course, correspondence, and your personal access code and textbook is $320.00 by check, or $333.00 by credit card. Once completed this school will provide you a Certificate of Completion for the A&P online course, and send a transcript to I-ACT indicating completion of this prerequisite.
