Models For Training

Please know and understand.

The 2021, prerequisites and training requirements for I-ACT Certification will change.

Information posted on this page will be updated soon.

Hello Prospective Models,

Here’s an excellent opportunity for you to receive great colon hydrotherapy at a substantial discount from our wonderful students during our next colon hydrotherapy certification training.

The Academy

With our school and clinic in Boulder we offer training, continued education, and internship to students from across the country and from outside the U.S.

All colon hydrotherapy sessions are taught by James and supervised by James and Madeline Angelus.  We are present throughout the duration of the session to instruct and help the student.  The instructor is available to answer all your questions.

Please remember our students are in basic training, learning the fundamentals of colon hydrotherapy.  Due to the intensive format of this training, sometimes it will be necessary for more than one student to practice on each Model, in tandem, during the same session.  Your patience and cooperation are greatly appreciated.  We anticipate you will also benefit from this experience.

You’re the Model

As a model you provide valuable opportunities for an interactive experience which the student could not gain in the classroom or from a textbook.  Becoming a model for our students provides them the opportunity to practice: reviewing the Intake Form; screening for contraindications; learning how to listen to the model and communication skills; and demonstrating the practical hands-on BodyWork portion of their training.

After each session we will ask the model to complete a simple evaluation of the student’s abilities which is required by this school for them to receive training credit, and your comments are to help the student improve their skills.

Make an appointment

If you have had a session with Madeline or James, great, schedule your sessions now.  However, if you have not, our school policy requires all new models have at least one regular priced colon hydrotherapy session before you are eligible to receive sessions from our students.  Space and time is limited, don’t hesitate…call James now for your preferred days and time.  Sorry, we do not schedule model sessions or clinic appointments by email or text.

All models who apply must speak with James to verify you are medically stable for colon hydrotherapy, even though you have received prior sessions with this school or instructors.  It is very important we know your medical history and the medications.  In some cases not everyone will be accepted, if there are medical contraindications or other circumstances that may be of question.

Please look at our calendar to be a Model and for Colonic Training.

Model dates: TBA.  Please send us your email to apply.

Model times: 10:30 AM, 1:30 and 3:30 PM.

Please choose one to three times and call James indicating your preference.  If the above times don’t work for you, please suggest times that do and we will try to accommodate your schedule.  Please understand we have many models and very few openings and want to be fair to everyone.  Session times are first come first served.

Once accepted as a model and a session time has been scheduled and confirmed I will email you the Intake Form.  If you are a client or returning model from a previous training, you will need to complete a new Intake Form as you will be working with a different student.

For the Foundation Models please bring $35.00 cash.  Please arrive 15 minutes early.  Should you not be able to keep your session, please call James so we can possibly make other arrangements for you or call another model to fill that session time.

Your session time is 45 minutes, from the actual time your session is scheduled to begin to the time the session is complete; please do not be late as there is no grace period.  The actual working time on the colonic table is approximately 25-35 minutes which allows the student time to do paper work before and after the session, etc.

We strongly suggest you do not cleanse or fast before this colon hydrotherapy session.  If you have questions, please call James for clarification.  Before the session please eat food and be normal, whatever that is for you.  Please do not wear fragrance, cologne or perfume.

Water is good! Colon Hydrotherapy is great!  You will feel much better, and learn something about the body.

We appreciate your support.

Thank you,

James Allred & Madeline Angelus, Instructors

James' experience
