Confirmed Level 1 Training Dates are: May 14 - 24.
Confirmed Level 2 Training Dates are: April 30 - May 4, and, August 29 - September 2.
Optional training dates and new events may be found on the school calendar.
We prefer to offer this training in a manner that is easiest for the student's comprehension and time management. We propose three weekends of four days, Thursday through Sunday. For those who wish to do a training intensive the minimum days of training is twelve days over thirteen consecutive dates. If you are coming from outside the local area, please arrive in Boulder the day before training begins to complete your personal session with the instructor.
If the above dates do not work for you please contact us with two options of your proposed training dates (please be specific including the dates you cannot attend), and we will do our best to accommodate your schedule. When your suggested dates and the schedule of the instructors are coordinated, then we will email you the School Application. When the deposit and School Application are received, then that training and the personal Skype interview will be scheduled.
This School’s curriculum covers information and materials necessary for each completing student to become well skilled, preparing you to successfully enter into our profession. The required lesson plans and student's 15 minute presentation is taken from the Fundamentals of Anatomy & Physiology by Rizzo, Fourth Edition ISBN-13: is the requirement textbook for your participation and training completion.
All lessons include: School training manual; handouts and charts; demonstrations with application of various skills; A&P lectures and review; Q&A for clarification; school written tests; video, and audio tapes, etc. Other topics will cover: health; training in the operation, theory, and function of the closed system equipment; safety and the proper sanitation procedures of the device; learn and perform colon hydrotherapy sessions using hands-on table work with models; and daily practice.
Also, you will learn telephone competence, listening and communication skills, indications for the Class II device, evaluation of the client's intake form with screening for contraindications. You will also learn to explain the basic functions of the device, and basic Anatomy and Physiology to the client, as well as recording client session notes and client follow-up after the session. Business ethics, proper advertising and office procedures are discussed.
The Student is required to complete and fully engage the giving, receiving, observation, and participation in a minimum of 25 supervised colon hydrotherapy sessions. Our facility provides the necessary models for each apprentice to practice and learn. Each model pays $40.00 per session.
Please contact James to discuss.
Our tuition is $3,400. A non refundable deposit of $900.00 with a completed School Application is due no less than sixty calendar days before training begins with the balance of $2,500.00 due in full no less than thirty calendar days before the first day of training (please read and understand our Financial Agreement).
At our discretion, applications may not be processed thirty calendar days or less before the first day of a scheduled training but will be accepted for the following training. We may accept payments for your tuition with certain conditions and there are fees associated with credit cards. Another option could be to have your training tuition and the purchase of your new colon hydrotherapy device financed, if you have an established colon hydrotherapy business of at least two years. Please contact James if you have questions.
For potential students outside of Colorado we can provide certification training for you in your facility. Please contact James for information, if you have additional questions and to obtain a School Application; apply today. Let’s discuss how we can help you participate in our next training.
The equipment we prefer to educate our students with and facilitate sessions is the AQUA-CLEANSE and Dotolo Toxygen, both Class 2 Closed System devices, which are registered and cleared with the FDA, and are certified to the following international quality standards: ISO 9001:2008, ISO 13485:2016, the most current requirements for Class 2 equipment.
Most significant, the Dotolo Toxygen device has been clinically proven in 2006 to be an effective prep option for Colonoscopy. There are many advantages to the Closed System, and through my experience and research, this device functions and responds similarly to the body's natural intestinal motility providing a complementary experience to the nervous system and entire body.
We believe 2018 will be an expanding and successful time for everyone.
